So, apparently every time I sleep with that guy, I get tonsillitis. WTF? He wasn't even sick after last time--I asked--so why am I once again sitting at home barely able to swallow*?
At least no UTI this time.
UPDATE: Not tonsillitis. But it might be MONO. Jeez.
NEW UPDATE: Got test results. It's not ANYTHING. I guess I was just sick.

Are you positive that it is (and was in the past) tonsilitis? Sometimes doctors are quick to prescribe and it can be a mystery infection (hence my misdiagnosed yeast infection, which was actually a different sort of infection...anyways...). If it is, and this guy isn't sick every time you see him, I hate to be all new age-y and stuff but...there might be psychological trigger behind it.
Then again, it could be that your last bout of tonsilitis was never truly cleared up, and exposing you self to the person who first gave it to you triggered it back up. Whatever, I'm not your doctor, but I hope you feel better soon!
Also - some painkillers can totally kick your immune system, so if you were taking them before, it could be related.
